I have always enjoyed drawing, almost since I was old enough to hold a pencil. My favorite subjects to draw early in life were sports figures and wildlife. Growing up, I was always inspired by the small, wild animals and birds I encountered walking the cornfields of my family's farm. The pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, deer and occasional red fox were among my first subjects. If I would have to pick a favorite subject these days, it would have to be the Raptors.
